What to do with your kids during summer vacation?

During summer time kids get a bit bored. Which means that us parents are in the mission to find cheap ways to entertain our little ones. This time I decided to do my search in Google to find an easy clay recipe for my kids to prepare and have fun playing with such dough for a while. If you click at the bottom you can find a variety of homemade clay recipes. I chose...

Emily's Fantastic No Cook Playdough Recipe
Not sure who Emily is - but her recipe is great!
2 cups of plain/all-purpose flour
1 cup salt
1 cup cold water
1 tbspn oil (vegetable oil is fine - baby oil smells lovely).

Drop the ingredients into a plastic bag and seal. Let the children knead them together inside the bag - then tip it out for modeling fun.

Jennifer López retoma su carrera pese a reporte de infidelidad de Marc Anthony

This is the first article that I saw in todays news paper called Primera Hora. OMG! The only think that pop in my mind was all the suffering that Marc's ex-wife Dayanara Torres had to live because of his infidelity with J-Lo plus all the shit she lived with this macho man controller. Like people in this island say, "You should be happy if another woman picks up the trash you had at home. She will live the exact same thing." Overall, she has to continue with her career and motherhood life for the sake of her kids. Peace to all!

Saying Goodbye when you Really want to say... See you Soon

Well, here I am again typing about humans need of relationships and how the nicest stories come to an end. A month ago I was so happy because I had acomplish to celebrate my first year with a person that I learned to love. But destiny played a bad card to our life game, so I had to make a difficult decision. And this is the moment when this title makes sense. I had to say goodbye to all my happiness and go for the logic card that will help succed in two areas of my life such as kids and profisional development. I feel like one side of me is missing. That negative feeling I felt a long time ago when somebody announced me that my dear boyfriend was dead. My boyfriend...Let me correct myself Ex-boyfriend says he wasn't meant to be happy. I believe I am standing in the same boat of unhappiness. I believe this is a time to dedicate it for me. Pamper myself with the bless of luxury glory. Love myself like never before and to be able to believe in the unbelievable thing called GOD! That will give me the strenght to accept to say Goodbye instead of See you soon!

Having a child with Autism...

In the year of 2005 I was blessed with my second child's birth. Each day that passed I noticed that my son was demonstrating a different behavior. Before my sons first year, he was constantly repeating the same movements which were flapping his legs up and down. He would cry for hours and had a lack of sleep. He started to say "Mamá" and "Papá" at the age of two. He had difficulty to express himself and would constantly throw his bottle when he was finish. Later that same year he started to learn a few words using English as his first language instead of his native Spanish. This was a real controversy at school with his educators and his social interaction with children of his same age. By him preferring English his teachers thought he had difficulty in learning and because he didn't comprehend the concepts in Spanish. His interaction with children of his same age was being  affected, because they couldn't understand him and he preferred to play alone.

Autism is a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old.
